Moira brings a diverse range of
professional experience to her position at Network Design. Fluency
in electronics and computer technology led to her employment
with several security companies in the New York metro area,
including Pro Tec Torr and the Thomas Shortman Training Center
of Union Local 32B-J, where she taught design, installation,
programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of digital security
systems. This technology background, coupled with her artistic
sensibilities, yielded expertise in digital photo restoration
and production work. Most recently, as Project Designer for
Pivotal EcoSystems International, she was responsible for creating
and implementing marketing concepts and materials for an international
non-profit environmental agency. Prior to earning her BA in
English from Fordham University, Moira had several short works
published and won first and second prizes in the Robert F. Nettleton
/ Ully Hirsch Poetry Contest.
